Single Trip Holiday Insurance
Single trip travel insurance will cover you and your family for a single return trip beginning and ending in the European Union. For European and Worldwide destinations, our Standard and Premier levels of cover will insure you against all the usual risks at two different levels of cover.
Your cover can be further fine-tuned by deleting baggage cover or deleting cancellation and curtailment cover.
You can also get cover within your home country if you have booked accommodation for two or more nights but this does not include emergency medical expenses and repatriation, emergency dental treatment, additional accommodation and travel costs, hospitalisation benefit or personal accident cover.
Whichever level of cover you select, your single trip travel insurance can be extended to cover weddings, winter sports and golf. We cover over 60 different sports activities, offer insurance to all ages up to 65 years of age and cover a maximum of four children (17 years and younger) on our family policies.
Your Single trip Travel Insurance includes:
- Prices from just £5.16
- Redundancy cover
- Up to £10m medical cover
- Up to £2,000 cancellation cover

Dr Travel Tips
- Before you travel you should call your bank and let them know where you are travelling and the dates of your trip to avoid bank card issues.
- If you are travelling on business and you only use your laptop when plugged in to the mains, remove the battery before you travel to reduce the weight.
- To reduce the effects of jetlag, a few days before you leave you should try to go to bed a little earlier if you are flying east and a little later if you are flying west.
- If you are off backpacking, a piece of advice that regularly floats about is that you should pack your bag, take it all out and put half back in.
