• Before you travel you should call your bank and let them know where you are travelling and the dates of your trip to avoid bank card issues.
• If you choose to take money on your travels make sure it is not all stored in the same place. Alternately take traveller’s cheques which will be replaced if they are lost or stolen.
• To scupper those pickpockets place an elastic band around your wallet, it will make it far more difficult for them to remove it without you noticing.
